Safe Underfoot
Level surfaces and clean transitions that remove trip hazards instead of creating them.
Walkways people actually want to use: level, clean edged, and safe underfoot in every season.
Sidewalks are judged at walking speed. Every heave, crack, and rough transition gets noticed by the people who use them, and a lifted slab edge is a genuine trip hazard for a customer, a resident, or a neighbor. CDT Contracting Group installs new sidewalks and walkways and replaces damaged ones for homes and commercial properties across DeSoto County.
We form and finish sidewalk work to be flat, consistent, and correctly jointed so future cracking happens where the joint says it should, not wherever the slab decides. Where a route needs an accessible ramp, we build that transition into the work rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Flatwork is unforgiving.
On a wall you can hide a rough day behind paint; on a sidewalk every wave and misjudged joint is right there at eye level, forever. Good sidewalk work comes down to patient forming, honest base preparation, and finishing at the right moment rather than the convenient one.
That is also why replacement work deserves a real contractor instead of a quick mudjack and hope. When a section has settled, something under it moved. We look at why before we pour, so the new section does not follow the old one down.

Ramps and transitions planned into the route where they are needed.
Crack control planned in the layout so aging happens gracefully.
We handle this work throughout DeSoto County from our base in Horn Lake, and we take on select projects farther out in the Southeast. If you are outside the county, call and ask about your location.
